Leonovus (TSXV:LTV), a provider of blockchain-based data storage solutions, will publish its Galaxa whitepaper at the Singapore Fintech Festival, taking place Nov. 12-16.

In a release dated Sept. 4, Leonovus said it plans to conduct an ICO in the form of a simple agreement for future token (SAFT) which will convert into GAAX tokens supporting Galaxa, described as an “Anything as a Service (XaaS)” marketplace.

Leonovus is applying to the regulators and the stock exchange to make the GAAX SAFT a publicly tradable security on the TSX Venture Exchange” chairman and CEO Michael Gaffney said. “If approved, unlike most cryptocurrencies, the GAAX SAFT will become a regulated security with the requirement for continuous public disclosure. This transparency exceeds the disclosure to investors compared to most other cryptocurrencies.”

The company is a finalist for Blockchain Company of the Year, an award given by the Digital Finance Institute at the Canadian FinTech and AI Awards in Toronto Nov. 26.

Leonovus co-founder and CTO Dan Willis and Forrester senior analyst Chris Gardner will participate in a webinar on Nov. 15 at 1:00 p.m. where they will discuss hybrid cloud strategies and how enterprises can pursue a multi-cloud strategy while not having to worry about cloud vendor lock-in.
